Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash makes sense for my skin care concerns and my budget. I have oily yet sensitive skin, large pores and a tendancy to mild breakouts. The salicytic acid is a must to my daily routine which helps to keep pimples at bay. It also helps to minimize the duration of any eruptions. This wash rinses clean and has no noticible odor. I've tried a handful of other cleansers over the years including those in the Neutrogena line, but always return to Oil Free Acne Wash. It's been a staple for years!

I've been using this face soap for years. I'd say if I'd collected the bottles I'd have a tall garbage bag full. This soap keeps my skin looking clear. The only thing you might run into is dried skin. Duh. That's because the sacylic acid. It's GOING to do that. Anyways you just need this and some good moisturizer like Clean & Clear Dual Action or SheerCover Moisturizer and you'll be good. I use this to remove my makeup after applying baby oil gel to my eyes. I use a LOT of eye makeup and this seems to do the trick. Anyways, this is one of my faaaavorite products that I can't do without. :-) Yes, I would and do recommend buying this product - that is if I've left any for you in the stores!!

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, 6 fl oz:

I have been using this for a few years now and I love it. I took a few month hiatus a while back but my skin got worse so I repurchased this product. I use this every morning and every night, it is definitely a key part of my skincare routine. I love how clean it makes me feel, and my face always feels silky smooth. The Salicylic Acid is at the right percentage and works great for my acne. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Leaves face clean and non greasy. Best ingredient for acne prone skin. Aroma is mild and pleasant.

The dispenser cap once opened does not close for travel. Thus I have to find another container to take the bottle to the gym.

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, 6 fl oz:

I am so so glad I discovered this product! I got it for free at an event, and kept it around but never used it. I have been suffering from acne around my mouth for years, and it comes on and off. My skin is very sensitive, and whenever I try beauty products in a store I come away with something bad. I tried lipsticks and came away with acne, or probably its the vaseline I use, not sure. Anyway, I was getting acne one after the other in that area right next to the one that just cleared and I was super embarrassed at going to work, it was also painful. I recalled having this product and tried it on. Right before my eyes, the size of one acne reduced! I was so impressed. I use it twice everyday, and it is helping clear out the acne. There is one persistent acne that just will not clear because it has not come out fully, it hurts a bit, but this product has reduced its size and I am hoping that it will go away completely. I have been using this for a week now, I do hope that it helps clear away the blemishes as well.

I usually prefer things going away naturally, but am glad I found this product. I will keep using it. Yes it is drying, but there are moisturizes that cure that, so not a reason to stop using this product unless there is a better one.

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, 6 fl oz:

I love that this contains salicylic acid. I have to exfoliate pretty often, every 2-3 days, to get the dead skin off. Exfoliating along with using this cleanser has really helped me avoid breakouts.

I have oily but sensitive skin, and I only use this once a day. Oddly enough I've found not washing my face at night, then using this cleanser in the morning after I shower has given me almost always clear skin.

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, 6 fl oz:

I don't really have a recurring acne problem, just blemishes from shaving/ingrown hairs, nonetheless it can be annoying just as bad.. nothing has worked to fix my problem for many years, i had just about to give up when i decided to give this a try and it's been over a week now and my face hasn't looked this clear in a while.. only negatives are that after you wash, your skin feels tighter than normal and kinda dry, but it seems to go away after like 30 minutes.. it stops your skin from shining if you're working kinda hard or in some heat.. buying this was a good move

So I bought this product hoping it would FINALLY get rid of my acne. but it didn't work, unfortunately! The packaging is nice, the smell is okay and the lather is good, but after using this, there would be no real difference the amount of acne on my face.

Also! during the winter this product was somewhat drying.
Bottom line: this product did not work for me, though it may work for other people.

ok im readin A LOT of bad reviews here - bottom line is u have to use a gentle exfoliating scrub couple times a week to get rid of dry dead skin that this wash gives u and u MUST ALWAYS USE A GOOD MOISTURIZER- dry flaky skin causes acne too, people. i have the most stubborn adult acne. im in my 40s i use 2x day, use the scrub that goes along w it couple times a week i also have to use benzoyl peroxidecream couple times a week [ like i said very stubborn acne] for moisturizer i use neutrogena oil free day n oil free night cream and my skin looks great
