It goes on so smoothly compared to the visibly lotion one that I used for about 3 years. This one is not sticky at all, and when you wear it under makeup it looks really flawless. I am surprised that it got so many bad reviews because its actually not bad at all. Maybe some people just use too much of it, which can definitely make your skin greasy, but thats just common sense. And everyone's skin is different so it just takes time to find the right product for you, and this one is mine. I sleep in make up fairly often and I use drug store brands most of the time. But still, even in my teens, there's never been a single time that I've thought I've really had a "break out". I have been using it for the past few months, and I've noticed that I have started getting pimples quite frequently. I thought it might be the lotion, since my face does feel greasy and oily for the entire day after applying it, so I stopped using it for a few weeks and my skin cleared up. Now I will just have to throw this stuff out. On the up side, the lotion is really unscented, which I like. I have mild adult acne, but I still need a sunscreen before I go out. I put this on after washing my face in the morning and then I use the Neutrogena Rapid Clear pads for touch-up cleaning during the day. After that, I usually re-apply any of the other Neutrogena moisturizers for acne-prone skin. I like this one as a morning moisturizer. He likes it because it's not heavily scented and absorbs quickly. I like using this product in the spring and summer months but need to switch to something more moisturizing in the winter. Some of the other reviewers have pointed out that it causes a sheen when applied, with which I don't disagree. I can see it not being a good product for oily skins, though it is "oil free". Perhaps it's the wax, but something in it made me feel very sticky, oily, and slimy. And it never, ever absorbed. No amount of makeup would cover the shine and it just felt nasty on my skin. I used the rest of the bottle as a lotion on my legs after shaving. It was fine for that, but I'd never use this again on my face. I have trusted Neutrogena but this product did not satisfy me. I was hoping for a sunscreen that would not smell like other sunscreens or feel shiny and oily. I believed the oil-free moisturizer. I am not pleased with the shine on my face after applying this. I feel I am paying for a greasy face. When I do use this because I want protection from the sun, I immediately have to blot my face with Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets and continue to carry the pack with me throughout the day. I am the worst reactor to facial sunscreens--if it's not big red painful blemishes along the side of my nose and on my jaw line, then it's the little white ones all over, or those lovely blackheads. After 1.5 decades of searching, this product is the only one I've found that does not clog my pores and cause me to break out, and I have tried everything--even the very expensive stuff! This does appear a bit shiny after first applying but is not sticky and I can't feel it on and the shine disappears with application of my usual makeup primer and stays gone even on my very oily skin. So I highly recommend this product but also recommend the application of a non-drying silica-based makeup primer with it if you want to achieve a matte finish or are using mineral makeups, which require "no drag" when applying. Comments about Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture, SPF 15: I love this product. I've been using it for the past 3 years at the recommendation of my kids dermatologist. I don't smell anything and I have a very sensitive nose! I also don't feel it as some others complained about. Maybe there were using way too much. I find that a little goes a long way; I only use one pump or less. I would suggest using less. It's a great moisturizer, I havent had dry skin since starting to use it. Displaying reviews 31-40
