It goes on so smoothly compared to the visibly lotion one that I used for about 3 years. This one is not sticky at all, and when you wear it under makeup it looks really flawless. I am surprised that it got so many bad reviews because its actually not bad at all. Maybe some people just use too much of it, which can definitely make your skin greasy, but thats just common sense. And everyone's skin is different so it just takes time to find the right product for you, and this one is mine. I sleep in make up fairly often and I use drug store brands most of the time. But still, even in my teens, there's never been a single time that I've thought I've really had a "break out". I also have very sensitive skin and something about the sunscreen in this product makes my skin red and causes it to burn. For the nighttime, I prefer the Sensitive Skin formula because it doesn't have any of that stuff in it, but for the day, I have found much better success with Purpose Dual-Treatment SPF15 lotion. It's a nice, although ordinary, light moisturizer. But that's all it is. Yes, it will protect against sunburn (UVB rays), if used in sufficient quantity. But for protection against discoloration, loss of elasticity, and fine lines, look elsewhere for broad-spectrum sun protection. It is the only one I found that provides enough moisture for my sensitive, combination skin, but absorbs quickly enough to not leave a greasy or shiny residue. The fact that it is fragrance-free is a plus, since my skin is easily irritated. Although I sometimes try other moisturizers, I keep coming back to this one.
