If your skin is not used to Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) or Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA) please note that they are just that – acids, and they will irritate the skin causing an uncomfortable burning and/or stinging sensation, initially leaving your skin looking a bit red, like you've been slapped. It does a good job of removing leftover traces of makeup after washing my face and it makes you skin feel incredibly smooth and soft. However after using this for about 3 weeks, my skin is becoming very sensitive to it. It has started to make my skin literally sting after use, especially around my cheek area and forehead. I do agree this product perfectly balances skin. I am 35, with combo skin and it makes me feel clean and refreshed w/o that "tight" feeling. Skin is very soft after use, almost like you have already added moisturizer! Pros

I don't like any other toner and only use this one. I have combination skin and can't use it twice a day because it dries out my skin, but using it once a day does the trick. Also, the only time it irritates my skin is if I have a cut or sensitive acne because it contains alcohol. Even then, it only stings for a little and then goes away. Pros

I can no longer buy this product locally because it has been taken off the shelves. Why? Good question. It minimizes pores, moisturizes, is really good for sensative skin, and has alphy hydroxy to further enhance the turn over of old skin cells, as well as all the other PROS mentioned. I don't know why a company thinks it has to "join the pack" and change products that are already doing a better job than the new ones they put out. This is extremely frustrating. Just when you find a product you absolutely love, they discontinue it at the factory, or your local stores decide that they need to go with "new and improved." This is just nuts! Pros Cons
