Within 5 minutes she started getting very fussy and inconsolable. I thought maybe she was hungry...but then I noticed her legs started getting splotchy and red. I tried washing the sunblock off with some baby shampoo, and her legs continued to get more red and even slightly purple at this point and she was screaming/crying in pain. I had to bring her to the aquatics director, he called 911 and we were rushed to the ER. She was fine once we got home from the hospital, but it was VERY SCARY! This sunblock claimed to be all natural and very pure, however my daughter had a serious allergic reaction to it. So I just wanted to let other parents know. Best Uses Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock SPF 60+, Stick, .47 oz: Wow this stick couldn't be worse. It goes on white and stays white. Won't rub in. My kids are too embarrassed to wear it, so what good is the "pure and free" benefit?? Should be called "Pure White" Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock SPF 60+, Stick, .47 oz: I am far from being a baby, but I have sensitive skin. I can take handle one application of regular sunscreen, but then I have to reapply and supplement with zinc oxide sunscreens like this one. The stick is super easy to use on hands and arms, for example. If you really really want to avoid aging skin, keep this in your purse and reapply often! Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock SPF 60+, Stick, .47 oz: A sunblock that is made for babies sounds perfect and without a harsh smell or super greasy feel is tempting. I must say that the look and the promise of this sunblock hooked me and overall I'm happy I purchased it because I can fairly say that even though I like this product I'm not too happy about the price for the amount. I understand Neutrogena is a great brand and can be pricey but for the amount you get it's not worth it. Buy and try if you must, and again I'm happy that I did, but, you can buy more for less and feel better about it. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock SPF 60+, Stick, .47 oz: I'm so glad I found this product! My daughter and I cannot wear chemical sunscreens on our faces (terrible burning), so we only use ZO and TD sunscreens. However, my daughter prefers the stick sunscreens to the lotions because the lotions tend to run into her eyes. This is the first non-chemical sunscreen I have found in a stick form. I have been using it on my kids' faces for swim meets and on our vacation, and it has provided great protection without running into and stinging the eyes. Sure, it will give that white mask effect when first applied (like any ZO product), but it will absorb when you rub it in, and the white will disappear. Great product!
