I've tried to use it for several weeks but developed a pink mask-like rash on my face in the areas where I've applied it. I have never had any problems with any other Salicylic acid acne product before, though I was always careful to avoid products that contain fragrances. I'm not totally clear, but I've been using this since Thanksgiving and my skin looks so much better. Very few breakouts and when I get them, they are tiny. I used to mail order an expensive BHA that also worked for me, but it was a hassle, and didn't feel as good on. This has the proper pH to exfoliate and keep pores clear. Retin-A was too drying for me, and Differin wasn't effective. I use the Rapid clear twice a day, in conjunction with benzoyl peroxide at night. My skin looks much better now! Before trying it, I depended upon expensive prescription topicals (e.g., Duac, Benzaclin) that never really got the job done. The lotion has a very matte texture, and therefore is not really a moisturizer. I use a very small amount on my problem areas, and wear a normal and heavier lotion (with SPF) on top.
