Doesn't discolor skin like benzoyl peroxide will do to olive or darker complexions. Doesn't dry out skin but best used at night since you can see a little glossiness once it's applied
The concept is great - a portable pen that allows you to dab treatment on your blemishes - but the medication dries and flakes, making skin look scaly or as if it's peeling from sunburn.
The pen concept may work great for a purse but it's not practical for men who want to keep it in their pocket. It seems over engineered for the delivery mechanism.
The Clean & Clear product is the same mechanism, but the medication doesn't flake off. It also seemed to dry out the pimple more quickly.
It does help somewhat, not as fast as it's advertised, even with smallest pimples. Still would use, if not one little thing: when you apply it, it makes the pimple shiny and kind of draws more attention to your pimple. I bet it would be more effective if was worn 24 hours a day. I however could not use it during the day because didn't want my pimple to stand out and only used it during the night which made it less effective, I guess
Before first use, turn dial at bottom of pen slowly until formula dispenses (may require several turns) After first use, turn dial one click per application.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying. Click pen to release product
Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor
If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day
