I LOVE the smell of this new body wash!! It has a pleasing, light, fresh "aromotherapy" scent. I have been using the original Rainbath for years (which I always thought had a slightly masculine scent but love it anyway). This new fragrance is very feminine and light. The original I found to be a little drying to my skin whereas this one not so much :-)

I am a fan of Neutrogena products, and have always liked the Rainbath products. Although the revitalizing grapefruit is also nice, it really doesn't smell like grapefruit to me at all. It smells more like the other "pink flavor", I don't recall the name, of Neutrogena Rainbath. So if you are looking for a truly grapefruit scent, I wouldn't purchase this product.

I have used many different shower gels over the years, but have always returned to the classic Neutrogena Shower and Bath Gel which I think is the absolute best shower gel out there. When I saw this one I thought, "wow, Neutrogena shower gel in a grapefruit scent...that should be great!" Yes, it is Neutrogena gel, but was a huge disappointment to me. The grapefruit fragrance is ever so subtle, and after showering, there is absolutely no lingering scent of it on my skin. I smell like I showered with plain water. I have also found that it seems to leave my skin very dry. In my opinion, you can't do any better than the Neutrogena Original Shower gel. The only similarity this version has to the original product is the name and packaging. If you like Neutrogena, stick with the original. I feel that this scent may go the way the other variation they tried with this product a few years ago. You may remember a blueish colored version called "Rain Scent" or something like that. That was also a big disappointment...and now I believe, discontinued.

What's good is the skin softening benefits of Rain Bath. What's bad is the fragrance. There's barely a hint of grapefruit in this and what's there smells almost as
though it's gone bad. Or maybe it's the other scent notes
that make it so unpleasant. I was imagining Origins Grapefruit
fragrance with more skin softening. But this is so far from grapefruit, they really shouldn't even use the word. I hate wasting money but I actually threw it away.
(I wouldn't have even given it one star but ou can't get
off the page without selecting at least one star.)

I was having a down day and had just purchased this Revitalizing Grapefuit Rainbath. I figured it would do the job of a good bath gel. To my surprise, as I used it, I really became revitalized! It didn't dry my skin or leave a film in the bath, so the ingredients work fine for me. I will definitely repuchase this item.
