I do use some product in my hair daily and I find that it helps to "start over" rather than deal with build up. I have tried using other shampoos and just don't feel that my scalp gets clean. If I don't use this shampoo my scalp starts itching, so perhaps I'm sensitive to "product". In Hawaii with the heat and daily workouts, really need to keep every part clean and fresh smelling. I also like that the shampoo doesn't add a fragrance. I spend too much money on perfume to have my soap or shampoo conflict with it.

It smells nice and definitely removes the build up from my other shampoo, hairspray, and harsh chemicals used to treat the water at my current location. My hair feels super soft and looks much healthier for days after use.

Comments about Neutrogena Shampoo, Anti-Residue Formula, 6 fl oz: This is not an everyday shampoo, and you definitely need a conditioner with it, but it takes out all of the products. I only wash my hair once a week, so I really need this to get out the gunk before I wash with my regular shampoo. It doesn't lather well, but I just put a reasonable amount in my hair and work it through, and when I rinse it, the gunk definitely goes down the drain. I then shampoo with my regular shampoo, and because of using this product first, it doesn't take much at all of my regular shampoo.
