This really gets rid of build-up and as promised, actually makes your daily shampoo perform better. Some people said that the smell bothered them, but I actually think it is a clean, refreshing smell.

I have long color treated hair and it doesn't harm my color it just leaves my hair and scalp feeling cleaning and refreshed.

You don't have to use it often - though the bottle suggests weekly use - just use it when you need it. It works better than any other "detoxifier" or residue remover I've used.
