Indications
Controls the symptoms of dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. Specifically formulated with soothing, cooling menthol in a unique anti-itch formula.
Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If condition worsens or does not improve after regular use of the product as directed, consult a physician.
Use caution in exposing skin to sunlight after applying this product. It may increase your tendency to sunburn for up to 24 hours after application.
Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a physician. Do not use this product with other forms of psoriasis therapy such as ultraviolet radiation or prescription drugs unless directed to do so by a physician. If condition covers a large portion of the body, consult your physician before using this product. In rare instances, discoloration of gray, blonde, bleached or tinted hair may occur.
Store away from direct sunlight. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

I have stubborn dandruff caused by over-rapid cell turnover, and I have to change up my dandruff shampoos frequently. This is a good one with a different ingrediant than a lot of what's out there (most have 1% zinc as their active agent). This is good to use in my rotation of shampoos to keep the oily flakes away. It is, however, quite drying. And, as a minimalist, I wish they made a version of this that included conditioner, so that I didn't need to use a second product.

I was usung this shampoo to deal with my itchy scalp for which it did a really good job. Recently when I reordered I noticed the dreaded (to me) words - "New Fragrance". Ugh. I didn't mind the "medicinal smell" but can't stand the new perfume they have created.
I bought this shampoo because my scalp dried out when I vacationed in a place with zero humidity during the winter. It really helped restore the pH balance to my scalp and get everything back to normal. I've kept using it because it really helped a lot!
This product has worked to clear a very stubborn itchy scalp where nothing else has, including a prescription shampoo. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with a problem scalp.
This product is amazing. I have tried many similar shampoos and none have given me the results that t-gel has. I actually LOVE the smell, I think it smells CLEAN. It also leaves my hair so easy to manage after I use it. I wash my hair with this once a week, even if I have no scalp dryness or mild psoriasis/eczema issues... because I love the effect it has on my hair.
I use this shampoo mostly during the summer when its very hot and humid and as a result your hair gets oily quicker. It keeps the oiliness down and makes my scalp healthy. I even use it on my small dog when he gets 'hot spots' that get red itchy and inflamed, chiefly on his back. I bathe him with Neutrogena T Gel Shampoo twice a month and the hot spots are history! Saves me a lot on Vet bills too! i cannot manage without a bottle of T-Gel Shampoo in the house!
Works very well for scalp itch. Lathers very well, so you don't need to use very much each time. The menthol feels wonderful on your scalp. It provides a nice cooling sensation. Very pleased with this purchase.

I've tried almost everything for my itchy scalp - just have the itch in isolated small areas on my scalp not overall, and no dandruff. This didn't do a thing, so next is probably a visit to the doctor. I gave this a shot because it said it'd work on the first try. Have been using for a week and nothing. Feels cool while it sits on my scalp, but does not relieve the itch. So, if I'm suffering from a medical condition (which is unlikely), then I'm not necessarily knocking this, it just didn't work for me. The smell is not awful, but it's not pleasant.
I have a very sensitive, itchy, flaky scalp. To make matters worse for me I also dye my hair. I have naturally dry hair, so I don't like to wash it everyday, plus I dye my hair red and since that fades so much I also try and hold off as much as I can. With that being said this shampoo has been great for me. It gets rid of the flakes and the itchiness that drives me crazy. The menthol in it makes my scalp tingly. It lathers nicely and doesn't seem to effect my hair color or make my hair more dry. I don't particularly love the smell, but it is worth it for the results. Also be sure to leave it on your head for a few minutes like the directions say, that allows it to penetrate your scalp. I have noticed that the shampoo is not as effective if you don't do that. I occasionally mix it with my color depositing shampoo (a must for dyed redheads) and find that it still works great.
T Gell Shampoo seems to help head itch. I do not have dandruff, or anything else that Dr.s can find; so I keep trying new shampoos. T gel seems to work the best, so far!
