Lately my skin has been acting up, so I decided to try the facial bar soap ( I use the fragrance free version) on recommendation from a friend. I am really impressed by how much it has improved the texture and condition of my skin. There are no harsh ingredients (at least not in the fragrance free bar), so it does not dry out or irritate my skin. A little bit produces just enough lather to thoroughly clean my skin. It does not strip my face of essential moisture or add any residue...it simply rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling healthy and soft. It is a very basic cleanser--- and basic is just what most of us need to have healthy skin. Like others have mentioned, the only downside is that the bar doesn't last too long, but for the price it hardly matters. I will not go back to using harsh, ineffective facial products that do more harm than good. This is dermatologist recommended for a reason. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not sure ... Once in a while I've tried another highly recommended cleanser to alternate with it, but none compares to the effective but gentle cleansing and rinsability of this Neutrogena staple. It's just such a pleasure to rinse away not just my makeup but all soap residue with just a few splashes of water--no scrubbing at all! Will never be without it!! I am now in my late forties and my skin is still clear and unlined. Maybe it is genetic, but I give credit to this soap. If I don't use it, my skin starts to act out so I go right back. It leaves my face clean but not tight. I use Neutrogeno moisturizer at night. I would recommend anyone giving this a try as a basic part of your routine at night. It is a wonderful facial cleanser and is also the best body cleanser. I keep coming back to it over and over. I love the fragrance and buy it online because I often have to buy the fragrance free in stores because they don't carry the scented bars.
