I read one review saying the scent is "tolerable". Well, I can't get enough of the scent of this soap! I find myself sniffing the soap dish!

If they made a fragrance that smelled like this soap, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Sounds weird, I know, but the scent is my number one attraction to this bar of soap!

The Neutrogena transparent facial bar is good for all uses in my life except for the heaviest work, and I will leave those jobs to my husband and he can use a really tough soap, if he has one.

The only other soaps that I have are ones that I got on trips in Europe, like Provence. and that does not count.

I love this soap because it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, it rinses off completely and leaves my face clean! It doesn't improve acne neccessarily, but because other face-washes (especially medicated ones)aggrivate the break-outs, I like this the best. It does melt quickly but my trick is to chop it in half and use on piece at a time so that less of it is exposed to water. All around great product!

I love this bar. I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts. This bar has been amazing. It does not dry and it did clear up my skin. Very affordable as well.

I have very sensitive skin and harsh soaps like Safeguard, or even milder soaps like Dove or Ivory, will irritate the skin on my back and chest. This is the only soap/body wash that I have tried that doesn't cause me to break out or irritate my preexisting acne. I only use the soap on my body and have noticed improved texture and reduced redness and inflammation in problem areas.
Other than that, the soap leaves a great "clean" feeling, without residue or greasiness.
The smell is a little strange and takes a little bit of time to get used to but is tolerable. I stopped noticing it after the first few days of usage. The only con I have for this soap is that it doesn't last very long, as it melts very easily and lathers really well.

I got stressed out and had a small break out...I decided to get this bar because i was sick of all the fancy face washes that don't work! I have learned over time that it seems best to keep it simple..Ive only used this bar for 2 days but so far i love it...normally i use cetaphil but it just lacks that really clean feeling you get after washing your face with a good product...the only downfall that i have found so far is that even tho this soap is fragrance free and sensitive it still burns my eyes a little but its nothing that would make me stop using it.

I feel this soap is purity/sensitive skin hyped. It's to expensive. I buy it for my mom because she has eczema and because it doesn't lather she thinks it helps, but she's kind of dumb sometimes about these sorts of things. I wouldn't waste my own money own this soap, try Ivory if you want a pure soap that clean well without fragrance.

What a find! I started using this product because it is a recommended excellent/gentle soap for cleansing the perineum (the down there area), and then i decided to use it on my face since it is advertised as a facial soap for kicks. I have adult acne, and have been using other rather expensive products to combat it. Since I am older than a teenager, i find those other products effective, but very drying. I have to worry about dryness and wrinkles a-coming right?? (boo aging!) After two days of using this cleanser instead of the other one, my face was more supple and softer and surprisingly less oily. I did notice a few extra bumps on my forehead but they are tiny and i can live with it. After a week, some of my facial lines actually became less noticible and my skin is so smooth! I still have those bumps on my forehead but the pros are outweighing the cons. I also started using it as an all over soap instead of my body wash and wow!!!! My body is now softer too and i feel less need to slather on the body butter after a shower. I am so pleased, it's inexpensive and I can throw out all the rest of my expensive products and just use this for all skin and perineum cleansing. This product rocks!
I am thinking of maybe trying the acne prone bar soap next, but i have read the reviews and the consensus seems to be that it excessively dries the skin. I think I will wait for summer to try that one.

I like this product because it does not dry my face up. it's all natural and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.
