I have mixed texture, thick hair and I am growing out a layered bob, and my hair needed more moisture. After the first use my hair felt the way it feels coming out of a salon shampoo. I have been rotating it with my other shampoo to prevent buildup and it is working wonderfully. I tried using the products separately, tried using less, tried shampooing/conditioning less often, but all with the same result. The packaging claimed the products would not weigh down fine-to-medium textured hair (as I have) and I found that to be absolutely false. The smell is much more subtle, and for some reason, it just feels better in my hands and in my hair. It is almost like you are washing your hair with a conditioner, it is that thick and wonderful. My hair is super dry due to the hot iron and blow dryer, this shampoo saves me. My hair always looks great, and feels so so so soft. My only complaint is that the bottle is really small. If you have long hair, you will buy this frequently.

This dries out skin and hair and demands a rich nourishing shampoo. I am a senior and have delicate hair. I have tried dozens of products and none really helped until I found this super rich nourishing shampoo. Of course I have known the Neutrogena brand for decades and was happy to find this shampoo from them. I have used it now for a few weeks and my hair has become soft, shiny and healthy again. I only condition once a week now because the shampoo is so rich that it nourishes the hair with each shampoo. I am thrilled!!!
