I have only used this product a couple times so I cannot offer a real good review yet. It lathers well and I am hoping that it controls my scaling due to psoriasis of the scalp. I will update my review after using this product a month but so far so good. I only gave it 4 stars because do not know at this time if it will work on the scale buildup but as for a shampoo lathering and cleaning hair, it does great and I do not have flakes.

I love this stuff! I have a very itchy, flaky scalp and this takes care of it! It makes my hair so soft and shiny that I don't even need conditioner! I use it about every other day or so.

I have only mild scalp issues, mostly small bumps around the hairline. Expected a great, deep clean from this product. Got hair that felt dried out, yet oddly sticky even while still wet and such a huge mass of tangles, I had to use half a bottle of expensive detangler (a salon brand) just to get a comb through it. I do have fine, thin hair and maybe this product is just too much for me. I will not even use the rest of the bottle, which is a shame because it also is not cheap.

This works great on my face as an acne wash for moderate to severe acne. It has 3 percent salicylic acid as opposed to the 2 percent in most acne washes, it works great on body acne too. I like that it doesn't have added orange or blue coloring like many acne washes. If you can withstand an acne wash with 2 percent salicylic acid, artificial color and fragrance then this would probably work even better without irritation because it doesn't have the added fragrance or color. I would only use it once a day for that purpose because again it has 3 percent of the active ingredient. As for the intended use as a shampoo, my son uses it for moderate dandruff and it works well.

I use this just like I use all shampoo. Just lather in wash, rinse a little at a time still washing in then rinse all the way out.

I have a Candida overgrowth which has caused dandruff. This really helps to keep my itching to a minimum with my sugar free, gluten free and dairy free diet. I used to get flakes with the itching, but that is now completely gone since beginning this product. I used MANY other (almost all) name brand dandruff shampoos and this is the ONLY one that got rid of my flakes. I do still get slightly itchy if I eat something that I shouldn't, but based on past experience, I think the itching would be much worse without this product.

I am sure I've tried 20-30 different shampoos for my problem. None of them worked. None of them contained salicylic acid and none of the directions were so clear, making perfect logical sense. This product does continue to work even after rinsing shampoo out well. The salicylic acid continues to break down crusty flakes on scalp even though you aren't aware of it. You will know this after 2-3 washings. I would suggest using every three days to a week and allowing the ingredients to work for best results. It doesn't work FAST but it does work! Don't give up on this without following directions and giving it a few weeks to began to see and KNOW the results. Of course, see your dermatologist if this doesn't solve your problem because you may have another condition involved but at least give this product time first because in most cases I believe you'll find genuine relief. This is a safe shampoo & good shampoo to use for anyone except infants & small children.

The only product that worked well on my flaky itchy scalp and left behind a clean and happy scalp with beautfiful hair.
My husband uses it too and he has baby fine hair, way different from my curly locks.
I also really like that its free of alcohol, fragrance, and preservative.

I use this in-between another dry scalp shampoo and using both they keep my scalp healthy with hardly any flakes at all. I have ichtheosis so my scalp is very dry.

Since my scalp is prone to dandruff and itchy bumps I rotate the four shampoos. T-Sal is the only one that leaves my hair feeling sticky. The Listerine is the only thing I have found (including a prescription) that seems to be helping.
