I bought this product locally when I was having an outbreak of eczema on my face, along with other Neutrogena eczema products. Although it didn't make the problem worse, I think I would have been better off using my old cleanser, Aveeno Ultra-calming Foaming Cleanser which I've used for years with no incident. (It was a new face cream that set off the eczema, which I immediately discontinued.) The other Neutrogena eczema products are what fixed my skin. I found this cleanser thick (but clear) and hard to rinse off. I was especially put off by the fragrance. Like other reviewers, I do not understand why they would pare down the ingredients to make a healthier product for sensitive skin, then turn around and add fragrance? I will use up this product, alternating with my Aveeno cleanser, but will not buy this again.

Cleanses my face and is very gentle and non-irritating. There's no smell and it lathers sufficiently. I like it.

I just cannot understand why Neutrogena insists on putting fragrances in their products marketed to people with sensitive skin. Obviously that does not work at all for people with truly sensitive skin. Pretty much all of their products for sensitive skin include it, and are not suitable for people with sensitive skin! I'm constantly disappointed with Neutrogena's products and have absolutely given up on any of their "sensitive" products. Goodbye, Neutrogena! You've lost me.

great cleanser for the morning when i wash my face and does a great job at removing makeup at night. i like how there are very limited ingreidents compared to ALOT of other cleansers. i can even open my eyes when i use this. i will continure to use this.

This is a clear gel with a light texture and those qualities are commendable. The product contains fragrance, though, and I would not expect to find such a harsh ingredient in a face wash that is marketed as "gentle." Fragrance is an irritant. I didn't even like the smell. There's something old-fashioned about it. Since fragrance is last on the ingredient list, I figured it would not be a problem, but, for me, it is.

I have used many different products both drug store quality and high end. I really like this cleanser. It works as well as some $25+. Since this container is also twice as much it is really a deal. I wish it did not contain fragrance but I can't complain too much. Since it is moisturizing I also use it as a body wash with a loofa. It sounds strange but is about the same price as Aveeno or some other more moisturizing washes. Less bottles to deal with in the shower too!
