I love this sunscreen. It goes on easily and leaves no icky, greasy sunscreen feeling. It is very effective, and allows you to get the perfect tan with no burning (as long as you apply often enough!).

This is the perfect sunscreen for my face - adult combination with a tendency towards slight acne with ANY product that's greasy or leaves a nasty residue. A pharmacist told me a SPF 30 is plenty; that anything higher is "redundant."

This sunscreen goes on well, dries to a nice, smooth finish on the face. It's a product I can use with complete confidence everyday. Because of the cost, I just use it on my face and then use what's left over on the tops of my hands so they're protected as well. For the rest of my body, I go with just a sunscreen, which is plenty for me. I've recommended this product to many friends.

The only drawback - and the reason it didn't get 5 stars - is this sunblock is NOT waterproof. That means is you're a swimmer (which I am), the sunblock will NOT protect your face and will run into your eyes when you sweat and burn like hell. For swimming, I guess you'd have to use something else... My solution to this problem is to (usually) swim inside.

I love Neutrogena but this stuff is dry, chalky, impossible to rub in and leaves streaks. I tried using it as a daily facial spf but every single time I wore it someone would point out a white streak on my face, no matter how long I spent trying to rub it in - and then trying to fix it just makes it roll up into white pilly balls of goo. Awful, unusable stuff. I even have white streaks all over my car, my purse, etc. from where it rubs off any anything you touch if you have it on your body. Their Healthy Defense line is MUCH better - creamier and lighter, rubs in all the way.

This is the best sunblock I've found mainly because it goes on easily and does not feel greasy. Actually does feel "dry" because it absorbs so readily. I'm not a big swim, sport or beach person, but it works well when I'm just out working in my yard or have to be out in the sun for any reason (fairs, concerts, etc.). And I'm light complected and burn easily if I don't wear sunscreen. I don't use it on my face because I prefer my moisturizer with SPF and my make-up has SPF, too. But everywhere else it's great! My son uses it on his face and seems to think it's fine.

I used to use Eucerin 30 daily sunblock under my makeup for several years and I thought I loved it. But then I received some samples of the Neutragena 30 and 55 sunblcok from my dermatologist and quickly discovered how much more I preferred this product. My foundation does not puddle in my creases as much as it did with the Eucerin - it's a much drier application so it does not impact my makeup, especially if I apply it several minutes or an hour in advance of doing my makeup. Although the Eucerin product probably lasts longer because it's thinner, I definitely prefer this for application under makeup!

I tan instead of burn, but I don't want to get skin cancer so I use sunscreen. This rubs in well, and doesn't leave a film like most sunscreen. And I only have to apply this stuff once, because even when getting wet at the beach I didn't tan/burn. Also, when used on my face, my skin doesn't turn shiny/oily.
