But...Read complete review This product USED to work extremely well on helping uneven blotches to fade. I originally bought it a couple of years ago to even out old acne scars. The Vitamin C was fantastic! But then they came out with a new formula that has "stablized vitamin C". Whatever this process means, it didn't do anything for the product's fading potential. The old formula was a bit runny, and this new one is creamier, but it just doesn't work the same anymore. I switched to a new moisturizer and will be using a Vitamin C serum under it for a more even skintone. Hey Neutrogena, newer doesn't always mean better! A lot of moisturizers with SPF 30 make my face greasy but this one has a light feel that does not cause me to break out or make my skin oily. It goes on smooth, and i don't know if it as just me, but i did see some improvement the first time i used it. However,like an hour later i got oil, not shiny, OILY...and as the day went on, it got worse.I like that it has spf 30, and i want to keep using it, but there is seriously no point.My skin is very oily, i think that's why it didn't work. I use this 30 SPF lotion everytime I go outside. It feels great on my face, and I love that it also fades dark marks. I don't use it at night, because the sunscreen is just an extra chemical that isn't needed after dark. The only thing I don't like is the container. It is hard to get the last of the product out, so instead of throwing it away when it seems empty, I cut it open to scrape out several more days. This cream is good and gives me great protection. I only use it in the morning, since I have another cream for the night time. It has a strong perfume smell, and perhaps its just me, but I thought it burned when I put it on. It's also very thick and difficult to spread out. Skin that is extremely dry or over 40 needs more moisture ... After washing my face, pat dry, immediately apply a generous pea+ amount, to help hold-in moisture ... Goes on Velvetely smooth, is very white until absorbed, feels clean not greasy ... Used to sun-protect on biking trail or driving in a car ... After approx 4 hours, my forehead, around eyes, corners of mouth, I notice i'm flaking dry skin ... For a younger person, hormones protect losing as much water from our skin, even producing oils, so for you, I would say YES ... I love the feel of this lotion as I apply it, just wish it would last...
