It's always interesting reading the other reviews when you find a product that's great. This stuff is incredible! It has an odor, but I certainly don't think it's evil and horrible. But people always have different perceptions. It's very cold going on, so I wouldn't suggest using it on young children. We live in the high desert of Nevada where the winds just scream over the apartments like a banshee when it storms. When the humidity gets to 10% it's high. My cuticles get cut and it's really painful, but putting bandages on them is futile. Everytime my hands get wet, off comes the bandage. When we discovered this stuff we gave it a try and it keeps the sore area protected so life can go on.

Yes, It does sting! Otherwise it works, especially on feet/heel cracks. I wish they carried "Nexcare™ Skin Crack Care " which is the same, but does NOT STING! No idea why the difference, but I have always used the Nexcare brand for years. Tried a bottle of this and will go back to Nexcare. Was hoping to find it here now.
Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:
This product is great for small cuts on my hands because it blocks the water and stops infection. Gardening dings up my hands and this really fixes them quick.
Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:
I use this on small cuts on hands. It allows for dexterity in working with my fingers plus I can wash my hands numerous times, more than I can with a bandaid.
Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:
I hurt the back of my heel and bandaids kept falling off. I tried every brand and size and they simply would not stay. This product was recommended to me and I could not be happier. Provides a shield that seemed to speed the healing process. Cannot recommend enough. Only minus is that if the wound is even slightly open it stings like crazy for a few seconds. Then it feels better. I will probably give up regular bandaids and just use this from now on.

This stuff works great for mosquito bites. Just dab some on and not only does it stop the itching, but when it's dry, if you scratch it, it can't do any harm! Yup, you can scratch right through the new skin seal. I get eaten alive by mosquitoes if I forget to wear pants in my yard, so I just use New Skin on the new bites. They go away faster with no scabs from scratching. Smells like really strong nail polish remover (God knows what's in it) but it works. Saves me from scarring and spots on my legs and arms!

Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:
Once there was a bandage product called Second Skin (now they produce only high-end blister bandages). That product cleaved to your skin like a silk glove and did not come off for days. I loved it. New Skin is the next best thing, and is now the only thing I know of that provides a near-perfect seal on small wounds and cuts. I carry it when backpacking. Its alcohol content (stings a bit) disinfects, and then when dry the product seals the wound (takes a minute). There is nothing else like it. I do not know if it promotes healing; that would take a study. However in my experience, it prevents infection and keeps you active, whether you are gardening, swimming, or playing tennis.
Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:
I suffer from wintertime cracks in my hands and have tried everything. This is the only product that actually heals my hands quickly. It keeps wounds dry even after having my hands in water. It burns a little upon application and you have to give it a few minutes to dry, but it is worth it!
Clean affected area. Apply a small amount on the area 1-3 times daily. Let dry. A second coating may be applied for extra protection. To remove, apply more New-Skin® and quickly wipe off. Fingernail polish remover may dissolve New-Skin® Liquid Bandage.
Store at room temperature away from heat.
May temporarily sting upon application.
Do not allow to come in contact with floors, countertops or other finished surfaces-will stain.
