It's always interesting reading the other reviews when you find a product that's great. This stuff is incredible! It has an odor, but I certainly don't think it's evil and horrible. But people always have different perceptions. It's very cold going on, so I wouldn't suggest using it on young children. We live in the high desert of Nevada where the winds just scream over the apartments like a banshee when it storms. When the humidity gets to 10% it's high. My cuticles get cut and it's really painful, but putting bandages on them is futile. Everytime my hands get wet, off comes the bandage. When we discovered this stuff we gave it a try and it keeps the sore area protected so life can go on.

Yes, It does sting! Otherwise it works, especially on feet/heel cracks. I wish they carried "Nexcare™ Skin Crack Care " which is the same, but does NOT STING! No idea why the difference, but I have always used the Nexcare brand for years. Tried a bottle of this and will go back to Nexcare. Was hoping to find it here now.

I suffer from wintertime cracks in my hands and have tried everything. This is the only product that actually heals my hands quickly. It keeps wounds dry even after having my hands in water. It burns a little upon application and you have to give it a few minutes to dry, but it is worth it!

Every winter, my fingers get these cracks near my fingernails. I coat the cracks with New-Skin and they heal in a few days. While they're healing, I don't have that pain of repeatedly breaking the partially healed cracks and exposing them again to germs. It is applied with a brush similar to fingernail polish.

This is the best medicine I've found for minor cuts! Cat scratches, paper cuts, etc, once the initial sting from applying the New-Skin goes away, you never feel any pain again. Seals the wound and helps it heal quickly and safely. I take some on every trip, and keep some in the medicine cabinet ALWAYS, wouldn't leave home without it!

Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:

I frequently get paper cuts on my fingers and hands. The nail polish NuSkin stings very much & I don't quite understand how others are saying the sting is minor . . . maybe they are using it on a callous . . .

I accidentally spilled a drop on my white countertop & & did not notice it until a week later. By this time, the solution had turned brown and was permanently bonded. I called the distributor to ask how to remove the product. Luckily their suggestion of nail polish remover worked.

Another obseration I shared with them was that I think it is very unsanitary to dip and re-dip the NuSkin brush after using it on wounds . . . The distributor claimed that the alcohol in the solution killed the germs that is on the brush when re-dipped. I don't like the re-dipping. I'm switching to Liquid Bandage by Johnson & Johnson single use swabs.

Comments about New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, 1 fl oz:

My 2.5yo son fell and scraped most of the skin off both knees. A conventional band aid would not have covered the wound and would have been torn off or fallen off by it self in short order.

He did not enjoy the slight sting as it was going on, and I wish I had had the spray to cover the large area more quickly, but it stayed on very well, and came off naturally as his wounds healed.

He wound up with no scars, which surprised me. And because the product was like a second skin, he never ave it a second thought while healing, except when he went through the "itchy" stage.

New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage

                     – Do you have a cut or blister in one of those many difficult spots where a traditional bandage has trouble attaching or providing adequate coverage? Maybe it's time to try out the New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage, an innovative product that can shield minor wounds from germs.

                    A Swift-forming and Thorough Solution

With a single brush of the New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage over a scrape, abrasion, or other small wound, you create a tough, invisible, fast-forming, and flexible seal that can help protect against infection. The solution can help keep the wound free of dirt and other debris. Although it's antiseptic and waterproof, the liquid bandage is also highly breathable to encourage healing.

Because it's so easy to apply and because it uniquely and flexibly contours to the site of the wound, the New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage is ideal for spots where traditional adhesive bandages are difficult to arrange and secure for optimum protection. The New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage gets its antiseptic properties from benzethonium chloride.

Rendering on-the-go bandaging to protect and heal, the New-Skin First Aid Antiseptic Liquid Bandage works well in any situation, and may be particularly useful for athletes who are regularly troubled by blisters and small cuts in the great outdoors.

                    The New-Skin Approach

New-Skin supplies some of the top-selling liquid bandages on the market. The line is part of Prestige Brands, a company that manufactures many different home health care solutions from sleep aids to oral-care tools.
