i really wished they had not stop making these they are really good when you need to keep cold (that is what i use it for) without the strap. the ones they have now do not have the velcour strap which keeps them in place. i am glad drugstore still has the strap ones .the ones i got from drugstore.com has the straps and it keeps them in place which is nice

It doesn't get so cold that you get "freezer burn" on your skin. The pack molds to your body. I love it!

I use it over my eyes before when going to sleep (after frozen). The relaxation of the eyes are incredible. The only major disadvantage for me is I cannot carry it on board the aircraft because the limit for gel and liquid by the TSA is 3.0 oz and I travel a lot.

I bought this thinking it was the same size as the other I have by the same brand. This one is smaller but a great spare to have in the freezer all the time. I use these after physical therapy and if my PT has worked on my neck, this size is perfect. The price was right, too.

I suffer from migraines, and these coldpacks are the perfect solution when I get an attack. They stay in my freezer, do not get hard like other cold packs and easily conform to my head and eye area. I have 5 of them. I also love the convenience of being able to take them vacation with me.

I have five gel packs always in the freezer. For several years, I have been using it for back, knee and shoulder pain and for severe headaches. This is the best effective non-medication therapy for pain. It is difficult to find the stock on the shelf. Recently, one doctor recommended alternating hot and cold theracy for my back pain. The bone dctor advised me to use ice therapy.

I have bursitis in my hip and have been advised by my doctor to ice my hip, especially after exercising. The Nexcare pad is similar to a pad that was given me by my doctor, but is even better because of the elastic strap, which I use to keep the pouch closed, and can also use to keep the pad where it belongs on my leg.

You wouldn't know it from the package, but this cold pack comes with a fitted fuzzy velcro pouch with an skinny elastic strap. It is just the right size for wearing on your head without covering your ears. The skinny elastic strap actually helps relieve my pain too. I've tried every cold pack out there, and this is the closest thing I have found to my all-time favorite discontinued Sunbeam Cold pack (which was just a tad smaller and more comfortable.)

my blind aunt wanted a duplicate of the old hot/cold pack in her freezer, which fit into a large, stretch-bandage pocket that came with the product & was easy to use. i read the label on the old one & ordered a new one of the same brand, type & description.
what arrived was a hot/cold pack with the cheapest imaginable, ridiculously skimpy cover, with a thin, elastic, too-short strap, which is extremely uncomfortable, because it's almost impossible to attach the strap to the cover without its rough end irritating the skin of one's knee!
