This product has replaced the (usually 5-8) bandages I used to have on my hands for my cracked skin (due to itching from eczema). For me, putting this on doesn't necessarily stop the sting right away when I wash my hands, but it helps my skin to heal SUPER fast. In usually less than two days, my skin is healed. This is especially good on paper cuts, and on average it lasts through two showers for me. Not only is it more effective but it's also more economical compared to using bandages. So glad I found this.

I tried this for cracked skin on elbows. First, it didn't work. it a. didn't heal the skin and b. never fully dried. I followed the directions and still it stayed tacky and pulled lint from everything I wore so my elbow was now cracked, covered with a sticky seal AND gray from my sweater. I tried to remove it per the instructions and that did nothing. I used rubbing alcohol (my go-to for getting adhesive off) and it took forever to come off and I had to peel it--and still some of it is on my elbow. Pretty. The remnants left on my nails ruined my top coat, sticking to my nail and even after multiple uses of alcohol left the polish dull so I had to reapply top coat. This is ridiculous. I could have bandaged a big dollop of Aquaphor to my elbow and gotten better results.

Comments about Nexcare Skin Crack Care, .24 fl oz:

I read reviews they rated 5 stars, so I bought 2 boxes for skin cracks on my feet. It didn't help any, it is glue and makes a mesh, accumulates black dirt around cracks and glue is hard to remove. I don't recommend this product to anybody if you use it for your feet.

Comments about Nexcare Skin Crack Care, .24 fl oz:

Crack Care is remarkably useful. As a pediatrician, I have been using this product for years to treat superficial cuts, scrapes, split cuticles, and just about anything that bleeds. Even an early eponychia or paronychia may be respond to Crack Care. The product stops bleeding, sanitizes, and covers the skin with a transparent barrier. I use Crack Care for nearly all of my own children's cuts and scrapes. It provides a waterproof barrier that reduces the sting of taking showers with a fresh cut. One of my nurses even used Crack Care to treat a minor laceration that might otherwise have required stitches. I usually advise applying it twice a day. As the bottle gets older, it begins to dry up. Others have advised adding various solvents to refresh the liquid, but I have not tried this.

My husband uses this at work when he gets a split thumb from the chemicals at work. As a printer he has to get his hands in 'blanket wash' and many other chemicals that eat up his fingers, and if he gets a split he puts this Nexcare Skin Crack Care on it and gets Instant relief. He also mentioned that even blanket wash doesn't penetrate this product, AND it helps the healing of the split much sooner!

this product is great for cracked skin, especially on your fingers, where those cracks tend to hurt the most.
you put this on, it seals the cracks so well you almost forget about them!! keeps the dry, cracked skin protected and you pain free. I bought two this time because the cooler weather is already upon us and I needed to be prepared.

Comments about Nexcare Skin Crack Care, .24 fl oz:

This is a terrific product if your hands and fingers tend to crack because of enzema or dry cold weather. It seems to help those cracks heal faster and lets you use your hands without the discomfort that usually comes with skin cracks. And it doesn't smell like airplane glue. It does take a couple of minutes to set, so it's not as instant as superglue. But it works well and I keep bottles everywhere: kitchen, garage, gardening bench, etc. It's also great for paper cuts.

Comments about Nexcare Skin Crack Care, .24 fl oz:

I purchased this product for my soon-to-be father-in-law, who has suffered from severely chapped skin during cold weather all his life. His hands and fingers dry out and crack to the point of bleeding. Naturally this is very painful, so Dad winds up wrapped in bandages and those rubber "finger sleeves" all winter long. We've tried every type of heavy-duty hand cream / salve imaginable, but nothing has worked ... until now! Happily, Dad has reported that this product has helped tremendously in treating the cracked skin and has also improved the healing time. Thank you, Nexcare!
