They also don't tear your skin off when is time to remove the bandage. The adhesive area on the bandage covers the skin around the wound 360 degrees in all directions so nothing can get in and the wound stays clean.

I wash my hands often throughout the day and had no issues with it peeling off or getting wet inside. It also has a very thin film that allows it to stick to the skin, so it doesn't bunch or peel up like some other thicker bandages do. Good product!

I used one of my son's water proof high school musical bandage until I was able to purchase grown up ones. Not realizing,I picked up band-aid's brand. I got home and put them on and washed my hands,Removed the band aid and my cut was soaked. I was so angry when I realized I bought the wrong thing. I didnt even think to look at the brand. I always held Band aid in high regard and assumed that they made them. I was surprised to realize it was nexcare who made the bandages that ACTUALLY worked!! I went back to the store and got the Nexcare and used them and my deep,Nasty cut healed within the day. It was important that the cut stayed dried and clean. These bandages did that. I would never by Band-aids again. I read a lot of reviews saying that these bandages are hard to apply. If youre careful and take your time to apply it,you wont have a problem. If you rip it open without care,then of course you will have trouble.
