Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: These are the only bandages I can use. I have adhesive allergies and am no able to use standard and fabric style bandages as I quickly developed an itchy red rash. The adhesive used for Nexcare bandages does not cause this type of skin reaction. I recently had a badly skinned knee and needed to keep the wound covered for about a week. No rash developed from the bandage. I will also use just the clear plastic part of the bandage to keep those small cuts finger cuts, which tend to pop-open, closed. For me, I find, this speeds up the healing process.

Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: As a person with diabetes I am prone to recurring ulcers on my legs that are difficult to heal. Nexcares large bandages keep the wounds clean, dry & sanitary. They can be counted on to stick and stay stuck unlike MANY of the other larger bandages out there. PLUS they keep my clothes clean and protected from any drainage or oozing. These are the only bandages I can rely on, if the store I'm in doesnt have them...I go somewhere else.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: I keep these in my first-aid kit at all times. The size is good. The important thing- they stay on. Also, they are lower-profile than the more "famous" bandage brand. I love that they're clear, except for where your injury is. They last through hand-washings, showers, etc., if applied properly. Really good product that can be hard to find in brick-and-mortar stores. Beware that these are not extremely absorbent, so if it's a bad cut, the worst of the bleeding needs to stop before one of these is applied.

Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: I have to use medicated pain patches, and this product securely holds the patch in place. Also, upon removal of the product, there never is an adhesive residue (which collects dirt) left on my skin.

Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: I have sensitive skin (to adhesives) and I am on Plavix so bleeding is an issue. Always carry Nexcare bandages because I can use for long periods and they are less irritating to the skin than any other bandages tried. Great at keeping wounds clean and dry. Even take a shower with them.

Comments about Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandage, Elbow and Knee, 8 ea: These bandages are great for holding fentanyl patches in place, & they'd be good for any other medicinal patch, too. I have chronic pain & must keep a waterproof dressing on my "pain med patch" all the time. Nexcare bandages, especially in this size, work well for me. They are pricey, but so is having your patch come off in the shower. (Note: fentanyl is the generic name for Duregesic patches.)
