The new silver/grey bottle is a completelyl different shampoo than the old Nexxus Diametress! I have been using Nexxus shampoo for over 20 years and it saddens me to say that I will never again buy a bottle of this frog urine. I was lucky enough to find 40 bottles of the "old" formula, which by the way is a completely different shampoo, much, much better! I bought all 40 bottles, I pity the people who have been loyal users and lovers of the "old" formula Diametress, I understand their disappointment in the new formula. Did these people learn nothing from "New Coke" ?

This used to be my favorite shampoo. For years it worked like magic. I am not sure what happened but over the past year I noticed that it is becoming a completely different product. And it no longer does a thing to my straight, fine hair. (it used to have that "puff" effect). Instead my hair is greasier and flatter after using it.

Please bring the old formula back, Nexxus. Or you are about to lose one more customer.

I do not recommend this product for dry hair. I have never felt my hair this dry.

I began a search for thickening shampoos when a medication left my once thick hair thin and lifeless. I've tried at least four or five now, including the expensive salon brands, and they all tend to leave my hair looking and feeling frizzed out, which doesn't look or feel healthy to me. This shampoo, you need very little product, I like that it's clear and there's no extra stuff in it to leave build up in my hair, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and most of all, healthy. it does NOT give me that frizzed out look or feel. I only gave it four stars b/c of the price. It's a noticable difference in my hairs thickeness, one I can feel with my hands, but it's rather subtle, it's a not a dramatic thing. For the price, I kind of wanted "OMG look at my hair!!!". call me picky. lol

I had been using this product for several years with excellent results, however, when I last ordered Diametress not only was the bottle different, but so was the shampoo and the results! I noticed the bottle now says "volumizing" instead of thickening and it definitely DOES NOT work the same! I am extremely disappointed because I LOVED the original formula and wonder why they changed something that worked so well :(

I use this on my roots every time I wash my hair, along with Nexxus Sublime Volume Conditioner. I can't live without it! My hair is naturally thin and limp, but you would never tell because this stuff makes it look thicker and have more body. I get compliments all the time because people always think my hair looks full and healthy. I only use the shampoo on my roots (to avoid drying out my ends) but I use the conditioner from root to tip.

Not only has the packaging on this product changed, but I sensed a big change in the product itself. The smell was more noticeable, but now the product is clear instead of thick and creamy in appearance. I don't like that. I kind of felt as if my normal product was switched with a generic "works as well as" product that has a nice smell to cover up the rip-off.
