It makes very tightly coiled/kinky hair more pliable after washing. When used with a heat cap for 15-30 minutes, it renders truly amazing results, particularly if a little product is allowed not to be rinsed completely out the hair. This is the greatest conditioner that I know of for thick, tightly curled, fine hair that mats & tangles very easily when washed. I was very disappointed in this product. Comments about Nexxus KerapHix Restorative Strengthening Conditoner, 13.5 fl oz: This saved my hair when I made the mistake of going from blonde to red and then back to blond. I thought my hair was going to fall out it was so dry and damaged, but this made it soft and silky (also used the therappe shampoo with it) and saved my from having to cut it all off. If you dye/damage your hair, this is a must!
