Comments about Nice! Whole Natural Almonds, 16 oz:

I purchased a bag of these the same time I ordered the comparable Blue Diamond product. Many of the nuts were bitter, almost rancid tasting, and were smaller than the Blue Diamond natural almonds.

I would never purchase these again. Spend the extra dollar or two and buy the quality Blue Diamond product, these were terrible.

As good or better than Blue Diamond

Comments about Nice! Whole Natural Almonds, 16 oz:

I did a side by side comparison of these and Blue Diamond almonds. These were bigger and tasted slightly more almond-y. I also bought the ones in the giant canister, and after a couple of weeks they started to taste a little stale. Not rancid, but just not fresh, even though the expiration date is 7/13. At this point, toasting them on low heat in the oven helped the flavor, though I usually prefer the raw taste and heat does destroy some B vitamins. It's possible that this resealable bag keeps more air out and keeps them fresher, but the bag is also small enough to fit in my fridge, so that might help, too. If I buy the big canister again I'll transfer them to a zip lock bag and store them in the fridge.
