This conditioner has become a part of my daily shampooing routine. I've stopped using the product off and on over a 10 yr period. Went back to the product after noticing an increase in hair loss (again). Since using again, hair loss is absolutely less. Very easy to apply, but takes some time to rins off.

Always skeptical, I bought this product after a trusted friend's suggestion. With little expectation I found that my hair had gotten a little thicker than it was before menopause. The only reason that I could really gauge this is that the front of my hair used to be dry by the time I got around to blow drying it. Now it is clearly still wet.

This product helps as just a conditioner, but you need the scalp therapy spray which is not on sale on drugstore.com to get the full effect of the product. Another hint, if you have really thin hair, like I do, upgrade you're sheets. I had a hairstylest a few years ago give me the hint, and when I use 600+ thread count pillowcases, I lose a lot less hair and actually wake up with out a birds nest in my hair. I have been told that I have a lot of new grownth since using Nioxin as well, so upgrade to protect your hair, but Nioxin spray therapy to grow it!

My hair has gotten drastically thinner over the last year, and when I mentioned it to my stylist, she reccomended this product (I bought it along with the shampoo). It's expensive, I got it on sale, so I can't afford this system again, sadly, but it works. You need very little of this stuff, and you won't feel it in your hair the way you might with other conditioners. It's the type that it has to work before you feel the effects of it. make sure to rub into your scalp and then I comb it through my hair to evenly distribute it. After just three days of this system I've noticed a big difference in the look and feel of the thickness of my hair. It leaves my hair super shiny, healthy looking, and soft as well. Plus the tingly, cool sensation while the stuff is in your hair is awesome, like a scalp message.

I have very fine/thin hair. It got very thin on one side about 8 years ago and my hairdresser turned me onto Nioxin. At first I diligently used the whole treatment system and saw new hair growth within the first month. The problem is if you stop any portion of the plan, your hair goes back to falling out--and if you use the plan too long, it tends to make your hair dry and dull. I try to use it for 3 months, then off for a month and so on and it seems to have kept my hair from falling out--but not making it fuller and thicker.

I have been using this product for over five years now and I have seen tremendous results. No, it isn't a good shampoo...it is only for conditioning...but my hair has doubled in it's natural volume. Yes, it takes a long time...it was a year before I really noticed the change; but good things do take time. This is not a "quick fix" but it is a terrific product.
