It's light and soft, not too heavy on the scent of roses as most "rose scented" products tend to be, just perfectly scented in my opinion. It exfoliates without being abrasive, and it moisturizes amazingly well and I've used Dove. You notice a difference right after rinsing- skin feels silky soft. And once dry, the feeling doesn't fade. I use this one in the evenings after a long day because the scent and the sensation is just that soothing. If you don't like intensely floral scents, stay away from Touch of Smoothness (get Touch of Bliss or another scent). I expected some floral notes, but was imagining more of an almond scent, or maybe something similar to their Smooth Sensation Lotion. This isn't an upbeat floral (i.e. it doesn't smell "young" to me): it reminds me of grandma and stuffy churches. Not my kind of thing. This is my favorite shower cream, rich, lathering and with a wonderful smell, that lingers around delicately during the day.
