I have sensitive skin, prone to breakouts due to harsh products. This Creme is my night facial moisturizer. Although this skincare cream is a little bit thick and I used to know that if your skin is prone to breakouts, you shouldn't apply thick cream on your body as it will clog your pores. Moverover, the 2nd ingredient of the product is Mineral Oil. Many skincare websites claimed that it will clog pores and contributes to breakouts. Actually they were totally wrong because Mineral Oil cannot penetrate into human pores as its molecule is too large, so, it will only stay on the surface of the epidermis and prevent the dehydration of our skin. I like this product very much although after the application, it gives me a slightly oily and shiny feeling on my face but who cares? I just apply it after my shower before I go to bed. I really like this product very much compared to Elicina, which is a skincare cream extracted from the Chilean Snail. It's economical, and the main thing is it works!

I bought this cream because it's a classic. As soon as I had taken home the 200ml blue tub, I applied some of the cream to my face, as my cheeks felt a bit dry. It smelled lovely and fresh, sort of similar to baby lotion. It did moisturize very well. Unfortunately, I feel that Nivea Creme is too rich and greasy for my skin and way too heavy to use under make-up. I gave it to my Grandma instead; it really suits her skin. I feel perhaps this product is more suited to old ladies with very dry, tight skin.

Comments about Nivea Creme, 2 oz:

I found this cream in Fall 2003 when I was studying in Germany for a year. Being my first winter, my skin completely freaked out and I have never seen my hands, feet and elbows so dry... NIVEA CREME TO THE RESCUE! I bought it because it was in tins with really cute pictures on them: a baby's face, a couple kissing, a dad & daughter. I'm still on the lookout for them. I use the Nivea Creme before bed on my hands, elbows, and sometimes feet. It's great to wake up and have soft hands. I also have a little 0.7oz tin that I carry around in my purse to use with my Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I have very oily skin and would never use this on my face. I believe it's meant to be a body cream. I'm not sure how much I will use this at home in California, but I love it for the cold German weather!

Comments about Nivea Creme, 2 oz:

I saw this product at Walgreen's in a small round tin, so decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! This is a thicker lotion, which gives wonderful coverage to the hands, arms, legs, and feet. However, I wouldn't use it on my face. It's a bit too thick for me. The smell is pleasant, and the travel size tin is perfect for the purse!

My mother is from Germany and has used this all her life. She wanted me to use it, but when I was a stubborn teenage I insisted on Clinique. Well, here I am at 40 and using this product for everything. It works especially well if you use Retin A Micro, .1. It stops the side effects, and doesn't make you break out. Even though you're told to use oil-free products, these ingredients are pretty darn clean. My mother was right about this, as usual! :-)

Comments about Nivea Creme, 2 oz:

This product is the best deal Ive ever gotten in terms of skincare. I've spent countless amounts of money on fancy skincare items, but find that this is all I need. It moisturizes well, but not too heavily, and the fragrance is very clean. I use it for both my face and body, which makes this economical. I am also prone to breakouts and using this thick cream did not affect my skin, or make it worse. It's been around for ages, and my only regret is that I didn't start using this sooner! My mother uses this as well. Give it a try; it's well worth your money.

I have dry, sensitive skin. I have tried every type of moisturizer you can imagine, from the drug store brands to the department store brands. I use Nivea on both my face and body. The scent is clean, non-irritating, and I love the way it conditions my skin!
