It took a while to find out that Nivea changed the name of Double Action Face Wash to Moisturizing Face Wash. They say they made changes to improve. While I didn't experience anything new, I continued to be happy with the cleaning properties of the product and the way it helps my skin with daily use. I highly recommend it to any man who wants to keep his face/skin in the best shape possible.

Okay Nivea makes good products. But not this foamy face wash. I liked the old face wash they had, I don't know if it's still on the market. It was a great product unlike this foamy or should I say phony face wash. For one this bottle lasts maybe five days if you use it daily. It feels like you rubbing your face with sand paper because they added something to it, like tiny particles and trust me it feels weird while you are washing your face with it. And also Nivea is trying hard to cheat people out of their money by making this product foamy (phony) and effectively putting less product per bottle so you could buy more, old and played out marketing strategy. I will not buy it again unless they enlarge the bottle or change the product completely.

I have used this product for a few years after having the previous preference no longer available. I have occasional flareups of dermatitis, especially around the upper nose area and the Double Action face wash is effective as a treatment for that. I alternate days using a combination of Freeman products, so this is used only every other day as an immediate followup to a good agressive facial scrub. I like the final wash to be with a product that contains effective vitamins for sensitive skin and this has worked well. I find the smell to be barely noticable, but what I can detect is pleasant.

Seems to do the wash part right but the smell is really bad. It's close to smelling like a drug store perfume section. They should've left out the smell on a face wash, I don't want to smell like a shaving cream.

I liked everything about this product, except that it didn't lather. I like my face wash to have a lather, and this went on clear, which was a bit strange to me.

Great face wash. I experimented with Neutrogena, Nivea Oil Control and L'Oreal, and found this to be the best. It applies great. It comes out of the tube like it should. Not too much, not too little. It is really gentle to the skin. Two of the other three were okay washes. The L'Oreal has Menthol in it. It left a rash around my neck after about a week. I immediately went back to this face. The rash went away.

I have tried many different face washes, and honestly thought they all did the same job. The only reason I would buy new ones was to switch it up a bit. After using Nivea, without even scrutinizing my face, I realized it was smoother than ever. No razor burn; cleaner, healthier-looking face. Will be using this one for a while.

I previously used Clearasil face wash for Men. That worked very well for me. My acne has since cleared up. I decided to try this because it was on sale. Big mistake for me. After I ran out of Clearasil face wash, I started using this. After a week's use, I am now breaking out again. I'm going back to Clearasil after I finish this bottle. I don't like wasting things.

This a great face wash, compared to other acne face washes. Since products like Clearasil are most focused on completely "cleaning" the skin, the skin is then more prone to drying. So for guys, it can be pretty harsh when it comes shaving. This product doesn't just clean your face of impurities, but actually creates a moisture balance so it's not drying out the face completely, and since it's pretty light, it doesn't stay on you skin when you wash it off, so no clogging pores. Use it morning and night and your skin should be looking good in no time. If it makes you dry out, you have sensitive skin, and should focus more on products that say they are made for sensitive skin, like Nivea for Men Sensitive Skin line. Great product!
