I've been looking for a replacement for Blistek Lip Tone since they discontinued it. This Nivea Lip Care goes on smoothly and the touch of color is nice, but the smell and taste reminds me of cough syrup. It would be great if they made one that was unscented.

I like the idea of a tinted lip balm and I didn't mind the particular red tint of this one but the product did not feel soothing or moisturizing on my lips. In fact, my lips would be drier a few hours after application than before. I will keep searching.

I was THIS CLOSE to trying Tarte's lip sheer for $16 + shipping when I started a search for other tinted lip balms. I've ordered the Fresh Sugar Rosé lip treatment from [...] before and it didn't really do much for me so I was already kind of turned off to pricey lip products. So I ran into this one, and was curious enough to look for it at the local drugstore. I love it so much! I bought both the Cherry and Strawberry kinds because they were buy one get one 50% off. To me, they both smell great--Strawberry a little more so, but Cherry has more color so for me it's a tie. Unless you have very light lips, I can't possibly fathom why other people have been complaining about the color. It's not too much at all. If you want subtler color go for the Strawberry, but for me, both are subtle unless I really slap it on (and even then, it's still translucent). I don't have dark lips, either. So try this before you go for a more expensive and potentially less effective brand! My lips are so soft :-)

I use this product all the time. I was ordering a bunch of Nivea Kiss of Moisture (can't find them in the stores anymore) and thought I'd try this cherry flavor/tinted one. The reviews were either that they loved it or hated it... well I fall in the love it category! I'll definitely be buying more !

The reviews are right - it is a deep red color - but it doesn't look at all like lip stick. It looks so much more natural and makes your lips feel like heaven. I love the flavor too.
But it might not be right for someone who has an adversion to any color on their face.
Personally, this and a little mascara are what I used most days.

Nice red color, not too strong, not too light. Looks very pretty. And yet, it's a prevention for chapped lips :)

I had to add my 2 cents! Not only does this balm keep my lips soft & healthy but, the super lush red color, it imparts on my lips, lasts & lasts & an added benefit, THE COLOR MAKES MY BLUE EYES POP!!

I usually purchase a much more expensive brand of lip tint and gave the nivea a try - I love it! I am ordering more and getting one for my friend and my mom who compliment me on the color everyday - you cannot beat this price!
