Left me with white lips so I removed it, gave it a second chance, I thought maybe I had applied too much or had to give it some time for the white residue to disappear, but got the same result and it actually dried my lips. Wouldn't recommend it, unless white lips are your thing.

It did leave a lighter color on my lips but I basically wear it while I'm sunbathing or swimming so it doesn't bother me too much. Don't mind the taste and it does prevent burns. I bought the passion fruit one: maybe that'll taste a bit better.

It is not as good as the blue one which really moisturaize your lips.

I love Nivea and love all of their lip products...except this one. It tastes terrible. I'm not even sure if it works because I can't stand to wear it, skip this one.

I had found this product in a large retailer one time then never could find it again. I looked high and low and finally a friend turned me onto drugstore.com and found this product again. Now I will buy everything from drugstore.com because they were there for me.

I really like this SPF lip balm., it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Some people complained about the white waxy appearance it leaves behind; however, I found it to only to be that way if I put tons of it on. You only need a couple of swipes on your lips for it to be effective. Also, I tend to go outside the natural lip line when I apply it...taking care to reach those fine lines that are starting to develope now that I've hit my 30's. I love how the balm is thick...lots of staying power! It's true that it doesn't taste great; however, what product with a decent amount of sunscreen in it does. The balm is so thick that I hardly ever get any "slipage" into my mouth. As a matter of fact, when I have this balm on, which is about every day, I am reminded not to lick my lips, which causes drying...kind of like a trainin aid

If you have ever had a fever blister you know lip protection is critical. This is very effective protection. Don't leave home without it.

After seeing this is Allure, I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed. It left a whitish residue on my lips, it did not moisturize very well, and it did not last long. On a positive note, it does have SPF 30 and it didn't cause any adverse reaction (I've been allergic to lip balms in the past). But I would not buy it again or recommend it to anyone.
