I would say the SPF rating of this product is spot on. The key, I think, is reapplying according to the manufacturer's instructions (every 80 minutes), which, at this price, doesn't make me see dollar signs every time I slather it on my body, or tempt me to apply less, or apply it less often. Have used NO-AD lotion for a number of years. Use it daily on face and hands. I also purchased NO-AD with SPF 30 for times of greater sun exposure.
