My son is at the YMCA for the summer and they are outside a lot, not just swimming, so I put this on him before I take him and I send a small bottle of it with him to reapply throughout the day - we are both very fair skinned and this product really protects!

Don't use on face as its not non comedogenic. I do active watersports behind a boat daily and this product is terrific value.

I have been battleing Basil Cell skin cancer for several years. My doctor does not want me in the sun AT ALL. My husband & I vacation in Aruba every year. There the sun is more intense then the U.S. This sun block has been a miracle for me.

It does have a little greasy feeling for a few minutes, but with extremely dry skin that is good for me. Also, for those who like to get a tan, 3 weeks in Aruba I returned as pale as when I arrived. This does not bother me because I have never been able to tan even without sunblock.

On a 1 to 5 rating, I give this product a 5 for protection & price.

Living in southwest Florida..we arise every morning and use this product. Have a bottle by the door, in the boat and in each car. Have been using it for 5 years. Absolutely no complaints. My son is a fishing guide and he also uses it daily!!

I play tennis is south Florida where it is very hot, sunny, and I also spend time on the beach. This product protects well and stays on when wet. The sun protection is better that most other products and the price (16oz) is a bargain.

This is the best sunscreen I've ever used - hands down. I ordered it specifically to bring on a 2-week trip to St. Maarten because I knew it would let me get great color while still protecting my skin and avoiding burns and peeling. Great stuff.

While it's not "non-greasy" as advertised, it IS very water resistant, sweatproof & budget friendly for the amount you get. I have fair skin that requires high SPF during the summer in Cape Cod, MA or on vacation in the Caribbean & this is my top choice for sunblock. It's thick & takes some effort to rub it all in, but I think that's a sign of a quality, water resistant sunblock, so I've learned to deal. I initially apply two layers (yep, I'm pretty Type A a/b preventing sunburn!) before heading out in the sun, then reapply after any extensive swimming or sweating; this allows me to develop a gradual tan w/o burning. The formula is definitely on the more moisturizing side which some may find greasy. (My husband doesn't like the thick formula & refuses to wear it.)

I use an oil-free sunblock for my face in order to avoid breakouts & until last summer had never experienced any chest or back acne as a result of using this sunblock. After using it for a/b a full week at the beach, my chest/shoulders/upper back broke out horribly. In the future, I plan to use an oil-free sunblock for these areas & save the NO-AD for the rest of my body. Just a heads up in case your skin is prone to breakouts.

Bottom Line: While I wouldn't use this on my face, chest & back, I have no problem using it to protect the skin on the rest of my body, especially when spending long days at the beach or pool.
