While it's not "non-greasy" as advertised, it IS very water resistant, sweatproof & budget friendly for the amount you get. I have fair skin that requires high SPF during the summer in Cape Cod, MA or on vacation in the Caribbean & this is my top choice for sunblock. It's thick & takes some effort to rub it all in, but I think that's a sign of a quality, water resistant sunblock, so I've learned to deal. I initially apply two layers (yep, I'm pretty Type A a/b preventing sunburn!) before heading out in the sun, then reapply after any extensive swimming or sweating; this allows me to develop a gradual tan w/o burning. The formula is definitely on the more moisturizing side which some may find greasy. (My husband doesn't like the thick formula & refuses to wear it.)

I use an oil-free sunblock for my face in order to avoid breakouts & until last summer had never experienced any chest or back acne as a result of using this sunblock. After using it for a/b a full week at the beach, my chest/shoulders/upper back broke out horribly. In the future, I plan to use an oil-free sunblock for these areas & save the NO-AD for the rest of my body. Just a heads up in case your skin is prone to breakouts.

Bottom Line: While I wouldn't use this on my face, chest & back, I have no problem using it to protect the skin on the rest of my body, especially when spending long days at the beach or pool.

This works great for my husband & he's got dry skin. For me, it's just too heavy & greasy, but I guess that's what makes it sweatproof & water resistant. Definitely not for use on the face, unless you've got super dry skin. I especially like the price and it lasts a long time. Overall a good product that helps keep him out of the dermatologist's office to have cancerous stuff removed. That's my favorite part.

Comments about NO-AD Sport Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50, 16 fl oz:

I Spend full days on the water sailing and this product is the most effective, easiest to use and the best value available. I often take guests sailing and offer this for their solar protection. The response is generally very positive. The most common positive response is that it isn't perfumed and the 16 oz. size is great. You hardly ever see it on the shelves of the chain drugstores and when you do it is only for a week or so in April.

Comments about NO-AD Sport Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50, 16 fl oz:

This product works very well, comes in a large enough container (16 oz.) and a really good price. The best part is that it does not have a perfumy odor added and needs only two applications for a full day on the water. First application in the morning and second application just after noon for excellent sun protection. It was first recommended to my by a highly regarded dermatologist about 10 years ago but but local drusg stores only occasionally carried it in stock. I can always find it available at drugstore.com.
