it does cover the gray roots that pop up, however it is not waterproof and the color rubs off on clothes, skin and fingers even after it has dried. I would not buy it again...very messy

This is the best I've found so far. I tried the really expensive ones and they were no comparison to this brand. This has easy application and is not messy. The medium brown color is perfect for my dark brown hair. I do not color my hair since I'm allergic to brown dye, so I only apply it around my face, since I wear my hair away from my face and the heavy gray streaks show, so this does the trick. I imagine it would work fine for between touch ups. If you brush your hair daily, the color won't last, it brushes out, so you will need to apply it every day. For me, if I apply it before bed (after shampooing hair, to save time in the morning) it's gone by morning.Maybe wearing a sleep cap would help? I highly recommend giving this product a try, it will save you a lot of money and give better results.

This is a great product for using around the hairline where the foil weave doesn't quite get to. It covers all the gray and lasts all day, goes on easy, can curl hair after applying it. I re-apply every day then style hair. I used to just live with the gray around the face, not any more, so glad I found this product!

the product covers well, but the applicator is a mascara wand that tangles with hair a bit. i don't see the point of having the tiny comb/brush tools to spread the product on the hair - my own comb works just fine, but must be rinsed immediately after using. caution: if you have this product in your hair when washing your face, use a paper towel instead of a facecloth or hand towel to dry your face. if you get the product on a towel, clothing, etc, wash it out immediately.

I bought this product to fill in the week before my regularly scheduled hair color appointments. I have to say that it covered my grey roots, however, it's really hard to use effectively. You apply it with a brush similar to a mascara brush, but then it clumps up and you have to comb and rub it in to get it to go on evenly. It really wasn't worth the bother and took way too long to effectively cover the grey roots.
