I've done the research - these are as safe from pollutants as one can get, but unlike others I've tried with similar quality controls, my son ASKS for these. No stirring into yogurt or spilt spoonfuls - just "You can have some more tomorrow ..."
These are not chewables, which is misleading. I gave it 5 stars because it is a great product- it just shouldn't be labeled "chewable". However, the gel caps are small and easy to swallow. My 6 and 4 year old children can both easily swallow one soft gel at a time with a sip of water. It took a little practice the first couple of times, but after about 2 days, they both had the hang of it. I prefer these over the gummy chewables because the gummies have added sugars.
I have to squeeze the liquid from the capsules and give to my sons on a spoon. The gel caps are difficult to chew so these would be hard for younger children to just take as is.
Helped with daughter's constipation, and good for her developing brain and heart as well. She loves her "fishy pills", which are pleasant tasting, and pop in her mouth!
These are not "chewables" as stated in my mind. They are in a small gel capsule and the capsule doesn't break up or dissolve. You bite it and the liquid comes out but you are left w/ a gel capsult. I am sooo glad I tried it before giving it to my 5 yr old twins because I almost choked on the gelcap that was left when trying to chew it.
I am going to write manufacturer stating my dissatisfaction w/ them being labeled as chewable for Children.
