Nordic Naturals came very highly recommended. I've been taking this product for over a yr. I can't say if it is effective...I certainly hope so because it's pricey---but I don't have any problems that others seem to have. I don't see the problem taking a pill that's not 'pretty'--who cares??!! But seriously, good product

Recommended to me by a Nutritionist by brand and dosage.
Easy to take and no after taste. I love salmon but this is always there so I can get my Omega and the added benefit of CoQ10 for heart health.
It is a large capsule and sometimes hard to swallow, but the benefits make it worth that minor problem.

I've used Nordic Naturals fish oil before, so it was a disappointment and a surprise that this particular formulation gave me horrible nausea that would come and go all day long. It was worst at bedtime after a full meal. My daughter also complained that I smelled like cat food.

I ordered these pills based on the reputation I heard Nordic Naturals had...also the great reviews, albiet there are only 3 of them. Well, when I opened the bottle I wasnt expecting to find large pills that are shinny black and opaque in color - they look like black shinny bullets - Honestly. They are sooo unappealing to want to swallow, and there is a slight fish odor when the bottle is sniffed. I wasted $$, as I can not fathom swallowing a plastic looking opaque pill.?! I wish there was a discription of the pill on the bottle i.e. color and size etc. Like other retailers post, I would have never broken the seal otherwise. I Do not think I will order again from Drugstore.com when it comes to things like this...better off hitting my local vitamin store for an in person look.

A holistic physician told my husband and me that Nordic Naturals brand fish oil supplements are one of the purist and most mercury free on the market. They also, to our thinking, do not cause the fishy aftertaste and burping that many fish oil capsules cause. As a person who has dealt with clinical depression, I can say that fish oil supplements are helpful with symptoms. One may have to take a larger than suggested dose to get really significant benefits.
