In addition to the other homeopathic uses for essential oils I have found eucalyptus oil to be very effective at minimizing odors from cat urine and as a deterrant to the cat going back in the same spot. It's not a magic cure, but it helps. We have a cat with behavior problems who expresses herself in this way. Someone recommended adding eucalyptus oil in the carpet cleaning solution. Also, after cleaning up smaller messes I usually go back over them with water and eucalyptus oil. I highly recommend! I also like that it is natural.
For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grape seed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios. Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care.
