Comments about NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate 200mg, Tablets, 250 ea:

My dr said I need more Mg, and told me Magnesium Citrate is the most useful one for me. It does not cause me any gastrointestinal issues as other types have. It is also very calming, which is an added plus. I comparison shopped for quite a while and found the NOW brand to be the best value for me.

Comments about NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate 200mg, Tablets, 250 ea:

I have always suffered from constipation and used suppositories practically on a daily basis. There is a liquid magnesium citrate that is specifically for use as a laxative so I thought this might work well in smaller doses.

I take one 200 mg pill each day and all of my issues have been resolved! Magnesium citrate is now a pill I take every night.

I ordered this on the advice of an acupuncturist. Helps with the cramping I was experiencing. No stomach issues.

These are so large that I find them hard to swallow. I much prefer capsules.

I take 1 petadolex, 1 B2, and 2 Magnesium Citrate once a day, two times if I feel a Migraine starting. Since I began this treatment suggested to me by a Neurologist - the migraines have been reduced in half. It really does help. I have and would recommend the usage for anyone with diagnosed Migraines. Neuro doctor originally stated take it two times a day. I just can't swallow the Mg Citrate horse pills that well.

Comments about NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate 200mg, Tablets, 250 ea:

I recently developed TMJ and boy does that hurt. At first I had to take a muscle relaxer, but it's not good to take that long-term, so when my dentist suggested magnesium I switched. Most magnesium is the oxide type, which I found out is not very digestible, so I switched to magnesium citrate, which is much more digestible. I take it at night and it helps to relax all muscles so you sleep better. I don't have any upset stomach, perhaps because I take it at night. The pills are a little big, but not huge or hard to swallow. Overall I recommend this and suggest taking it at night. It seems to me to be more effective that way. The bottle is more expensive than what you would pay at the supermarket for magnesium (oxide), but at the supermarket they generally don't have the citrate version, so the price here is very reasonable.
