Comments about NOW Foods Neptune Krill Oil 500 mg, 60 ea:
I have been taking this product for two weeks. I do not know yet if it is effective for cholesterol control. I will find out in January 2013, after my next scheduled blood work, and try and get back here to update or add a new review.
I am looking to control bad cholesterol levels (slight elevated), raise good cholesterol (slight deficiency) and lower tryglycerides (perhaps krill will enhance my spelling!). I did not tell my doctor because I want to see the blood results for myself. I am not changing my diet yet, so that I can make a decent comparison to my previous blood work.
I researched Krill supplements enought to know that you want the word "Neptune" on the label. So far they are easy to swallow, have no significant odor and do not leave an aftertaste. I take 2 in the morning with a bowl of cereal. So far, so good.
Thats all I can honestly say for the moment. I will try and report back in January.
As a dietary supplement, take 2 softgels daily with breakfast. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® CoQ10, Tru-E BioComplex and Phosphatidyl Serine.
