This is the only product I use to wash my face daily. I have been using it for about two years now. I have combination skin that is extremely sensitive to acne products. However, my skin is not acne-prone, so this wouldn't work for everyone. It works great as a daily cleanser and it's gentle on my skin, which is what I need. This product doesn't necessarily improve skin texture or exfoliate, but it is a great cleanser. Just keep in mind to follow with toner and moisturizer if you want this cleanser to work for you! Acne wash and exfoliating cleanser will definitely be required for those with acne-prone skin.

I have sensitive, redness-prone skin combined with a sandpaper beard. I've tried every combination of shaving cream & razor you could possibly imagine, and I even make my own from time-to-time. However, Noxzema Cleansing Cream is a fantastic shaving cream for guys with skin like mine. It numbs the skin, softens the beard, and reduces redness. I NEVER get shaving irritation when I use it. I recommend using it in the shower with the Schick Hydro razor.

I don't use Noxzema alone, but I do put it on almost every day, leave it on until it dries, and then go on to the rest of my routine. It cleanses well and if you add some baking soda with it, it also works to exfoliate. I'll continue to use this with my other products.

I'M 62. I'VE TRIED ALL THE EXPENSIVE BRANDS; MY SKIN WAS OILY AND LOOKED AWFUL. AFTER 2 DAYS OF USING NOXZEMA, I SEE A HUGE IMPROVEMENT IN MY VERY THIN FACIAL SKIN. I USED IT AS A KID ... I LOVED IT. DON'T REMEMBER WHY I WENT TO THE EXPENSIVE BRANDS.

Yes, I seriously started using Noxzema in third grade -- daily. I have dry skin, and this product cleans off make-up and dirt without drying out my face. It's great for keeping blemishes away, the fresh smell is great, and the tingle after use is fantastic.

I find it works best to slather it on dry skin, then use a warm damp washcloth to massage/scrub face until the cream is gone. It never burns my eyes if I apply on a dry face. If you apply when your face is wet, it can sometimes get in your eyes and burn.

Noxzema is also great for soothing any skin irritation -- sunburn, bug bites, rashes, etc. -- and it also repels mosquitoes when I work in the garden (due to the natural menthol and eucalyptus ingredients.)

My friend even uses it to keep biting flies out of her horses ears. Sounds crazy, but it works and is gentle!

The classic unique texture of Noxzema has been the mainstay of it's appeal in addition to the aroma. The one I received in my order was not right- have they changed the formulation? [...] It felt as if someone "broke" the texture- those who use this stuff know what I mean. It was mushy as if it had been thoroughly stirred with a fork until very soft though not quite as thin as a lotion. Not pleased. I need to go to a local store and get one and see if they feel the same. If they don't, I'll still be wondering if this is an oddity or if the store is selling remaining stock and a reformulated version has simply not yet arrived. If I find some locally with good texture I'll be tempted to stock up unless I get confirmation that the mushy one was definitely the result of heat damage in shipping.
