I did try other brands but did not like the artificial contouring or plasticky feel (crunchy sound). I have not had problems with leaking and sleep in them as well. For the beginning, with a newborn and more milk, I changed the pads once or twice (rarely) per day. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that they shift inside the bra. Would like a simple adhesive. VS Most Liked Negative Review I liked the store brand better. I used store brand nursing pads for 12 months with my older daughter, and the first few weeks with second. Since the Ultra-Thins and Johnson brand are as cheap on here as the store brands (cheaper with gas prices), I bought these expecting them to be more comfortable and to stay in place better. Boy was I wrong! The Ultra-Thins are no softer, they moved all over the place, and they leaked through really quickly (which is awful when you work with almost all men that don't have a clue). Comments about NUK Nursing Pads, Ultra-Thin, 60 ea: this was not what i expected. i get nuk pads at the store that look like the ones on the internet but actually are different. the pads that came in this box were not individually wrapped and did not have a sticky to stick it to your bra. it's basically a round compact cotton pad that is not the best for absorbency. My biggest complaint is that it's difficult to tell the absorbent side from the barrier side. There is no adhesive on this product. Depending on one's shape, the lack of adhesive can be a problem. I had problems with slippage. I tried to save money w/ this product as it's very inexpensive but I would go with Lansinoh in the future. Comments about NUK Nursing Pads, Ultra-Thin, 60 ea: I like that these are thin, but the fact that they are flat, not contoured, makes them wrinkle to fit, so I can't wear them without showing through my clothes (they'd probably be okay with a sweater, but that's about it, so I've been wearing them around the house). I haven't had a problem with the pads leaking, but they don't wick moisture away very well, leaving my skin wet. They are some of the more inexpensive pads, but I much prefer spending a little extra for the Lansinoh brand. Bottom line - they are okay for around the house and if you make sure to change them frequently. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about NUK Nursing Pads, Ultra-Thin, 60 ea: These are great for lighter days (when you won't go long between nursing or for light leakers), but when I need a good heavier pad I like the lansinoh better. Comments about NUK Nursing Pads, Ultra-Thin, 60 ea: Is an assignment of no stars an option? These are terrible and that's what I get for trying to save a couple bucks. The pads leak straight through even without letting down. The backing is flimsy and it is difficult to discern the back from the front in the dark or on the go. I ended up using these inside Lansinoh pads until they were all used. Was this review helpful? By Anonymous from Undisclosed Comments about NUK Nursing Pads, Ultra-Thin, 60 ea: I love this item! They are so much more economical for a working mom who has to wear them everyday. I love that they are not so thick. I hate how hot the thicker pads make me and they don't stick to me or get all bunched up like thicker pads. Also, I'm larger in that area, so I don't like anything that makes me look any bigger. Just simple and efficient. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? I have used several different ones and these seem to be the worst. I leaked through every time I wore them. They don't stay in place at all. Was this review helpful? Gerber has better nursing pads for sale; these aren't really worth the money. Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » |
