Comments about Ascenta NutraSea + D EPA & DHA Omega 3 Supplement with Vitamin D, Apple, 6.8 fl oz:
I give this to my son who has autism, because there are many ongoing studies about omega 3 supplementation in autism (one study specifically uses Nutrasea liquid). I first started adding it to homemade smoothies, but he wouldn't consistently drink them so I didn't know how much he was getting. I then tried giving him a teaspoonful straight up, and he (very picky about food and smells) drank it - I was quite surprised. He sometimes turns up his nose but usually drinks it plain. I've tried it (both the HP lemon flavor and the +D apple) and it is a clean, not too oily texture, completely non-fishy taste with just a hint of the flavor. After a a few weeks it did develop a sort of white precipitant layer that settled at the bottom, though.
