One of the loves of my life, Riley my 5 yr old lab mix girl, was almost to the point of not walking. Her arthritis had taken over. My vet and I initially had her on human dosage glucosamine and that worked marginally. I saw these biscuits and decided to give them a try. Combined with Cosequin Bonelets (also on this site), she's walking, running and playing almost normally now. It took far less time to see excellent results than with the other product. She's very happy and almost pain free now. My other girl Ruby (5 yr old Shepherd) is taking the biscuits for a preventative. Her hips don't pop as much now. They're playing like puppies again!

I like these better than the Happy Hips chews because they seem to be more effective. The problem is my dog doesn't. Don't get me wrong, he will eat them, but he LOVES the Happy Hips and begs for them. I think these are more effective because when he was using them he seemed to be getting better results. The only downside is that you need to use significantly more of them for a larger dog since they don't deliver as much glucosamine as the HH chews do. They might be better for a small to med dog. Like I said, pros and cons.

The instructions are very important.. You CANNOT give a lot of these at one time. Although my 2 Min Pins love these, I still must break them up as they are for 30 lb. dogs...

My 5 y.o. lab mix has hip problems and these biscuits have really helped her after a couple of months of her getting them daily. I also give them to my shepherd as a preventative. My vet is totally impressed!

My dog isalmost 11 years old and is still adventurous jumping off things. For a while we were concerned with his limping but when we started these treats it was only about 2 weeks and we noticed no more limping. He lovs them also, which makes it easier than trying to force a pill or something.

My dog was getting glucosamine supplements already for an old break- I like that these treats give me an easier tastier way to give it to him. The treats are hard, which helps breath a bit, and everybody wins - he gets treats and supplements, I don't have to try rolling cheese balls to hide anything. Also, decent price.
I do wish more came in a pack, and it would be fantastic to have a glucosamine/chondroitin combination, or added omega-3's to the recipe.

My ten-year old Doberman-Shepherd mix has suffered from hip dysplasia for years and the glucosamine dog treats have significantly reduced her dependence on Rimadyl. She's begging for more after every good deed, so the taste must be spot-on as well. Highly recommended, particularly for older dogs or pets with joint/hip challenges.
