My vet and I initially had her on human dosage glucosamine and that worked marginally. I saw these biscuits and decided to give them a try. Combined with Cosequin Bonelets (also on this site), she's walking, running and playing almost normally now. It took far less time to see excellent results than with the other product. She's very happy and almost pain free now. My other girl Ruby (5 yr old Shepherd) is taking the biscuits for a preventative. Her hips don't pop as much now. They're playing like puppies again! Don't get me wrong, he will eat them, but he LOVES the Happy Hips and begs for them. I think these are more effective because when he was using them he seemed to be getting better results. The only downside is that you need to use significantly more of them for a larger dog since they don't deliver as much glucosamine as the HH chews do. They might be better for a small to med dog. Comments about Nutri-Vet Hip & Joint Formula Biscuits, Lamb & RIce, 19.5 oz: The instructions are very important.. You CANNOT give a lot of these at one time. Although my 2 Min Pins love these, I still must break them up as they are for 30 lb. dogs... Pros
