I got this product at first at EMS for the 4-day hike to Machu Picchu, and since then I use it all the time - when I work out and when I take long flights!
My only recommendation - if you don't like a strong taste - divide the pill into 4 and use each 1/4 for 16.9 oz of water (that's what I do)

This item took a while to dissolve in water and then when I began to drink it, I gagged. It taste like someone dumped a container of salt in the drink. I used 1 tab and now the little tubs the tabs come in are paperweights for me. I thought it was really gross. I would recommend this for die-hard hikers or invested athletes. This was not for me.

I hate to admit it but I bought this for my husband and I for use during an all-inclusive vacation. I am prone to bad hangovers.... NUUN is a miracle. Seriously. I drank one in the morning, one at dinner time, and one at bedtime. I never once had a hangover...even after all day in the sun and enjoying my abundant share of drinks. I am stocking up! And it tastes good.

nutritional benefits are worthy. number of tablets can be decreased and used only for flavored water.

I agree with the other reviewers. I am an avid recreational cyclist biking over 2000 miles a year (packed into 6 months or so depending on New England weather). I used to used powdered Gatorade but it is sickeningly sweet. I like the fact that Nuun packs electrolytes without sugar. I can always eat a protein bar if I need carbs on a long bike ride. I like that it's fizzy and the flavors are okay if indistinguishable. I sometimes use slightly less than the recommended concentration for shorter rides - one tab instead of 1 1/2 per 24 oz bike bottle.

Exactly as advertised. Re-hydrates after a long bike ride or a late night. Cheaper than gatorade and a lot less calories. Works quickly. Tastes decent (might take you a few tablets to get used to it).

I use Nuun every time I go on a bike ride. I've done 100 mile rides, using only 2-3 tablets. I put 1 tablet in each waterbottle, and refill when necessary.
While sports drinks are sugary and hurt my stomach, Nuun is light, refreshing, and without all the sugar. I've tried dozens of different sports powders and tablets and nothing compares. These also work great if you're sick, and need hydration, but can't stomach much.
This 4 pack contains the best Nuun flavors too!
