I have never experienced the cracking that other reviews mentioned. I have been trying to buy more at my local store and they have been out of it for a month. Luckily, I found it here. The only con is about 2/3rds down, it becomes almost solid but at this price, no complaints.

Best Uses Comments about NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel, Extra Shiny Top Coat, .45 fl oz: I've been using other products of NYC for several years now and i am satisfied with all of them: eye shadow, powder, blush. This is why I decided to purchase this top coat, even though it had a few not very positive reviews. This top coat is terrible, it's the worst top coat I've ever owned. Yes, it dries very fast, but gets very visible cracks within 12 hours after application, and after next 12 hours it starts chipping. These broken pieces are huge, usually half the size of nail, very visible and looks awful. I tried it with several different brands of colored nail polish, and got same result every time.

I don't use much nail polish, prefer light/natural colors or clear, if any. This flaked off the next day. Very cheap quality. Even though I applied 3 coats over an existing coat from another clear brand polish.
