Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including limit time in the sun, especially from 10am-2pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. For use on skin only. Avoid contact with fabric.
Best sunscreen for me: non stinging, no tears and effective. Doesn't run in my eyes when active. Have used for past few years with consistent success. Please continue to carry this great product!
I use this sun block every day. I love it because it goes on smoothly, is odorless and is not greasy. It does a good job of sun protection for regular use, although, I have not spent a entire day outside in the sun since I started using it.
I have fallen in love with this sunscreen. I have used it for four years and I am very upset to not find it in stores anywhere around where I live. I am happy to have found it online. I love that I can put this sunscreen on and not tell that I put any sun protection on. It is not greasy and rubs in like hand lotion. When we go to the beach I usually only apply once unless we are there forever. At the beginning of the season I pulled out four old bottles.....love it and will never have another sunscreen. Tried Coppertone since I couldn't find this one in stores and I am sending it back to the company.
I've used ocean potion for more than 10 years starting with the Baby potion, which then turned into the Gentle and Sensitive. I couldn't buy it locally and for a while I was stationed overseas in the military. I would order directly from the company's website. Glad to see it's available to a wider market on Drugstore.com. I NEVER write reviews, but I can't say enough good things about this product. I also love the feel of the anti-aging version, but found it caused bumps on my skin.
II hope my review does not make the price go up due to increased demand! I love this for daily use! I am very sensitive to the sun and need to have high protection at all times. Unfortunately every product clogged my pores except this one! Neutragena was the worst! This is great! I have not worn this swimming, or worn in the sun for long periods, so not sure how it holds up for that type of use, but daily use is fantastic! I also use this on my children for daily use. Will not use another brand right now. Will need to see how it works in Phoenix summers still.
This product is wonderful. We were recently on vacation, and the last thing I wanted to worry about was a sunburn. Offered great protection, no smell, and very gentle to my skin. Ocean Potion is the only sunscreen I have found that stops me from burning, and that I have no rection to any of its ingredients.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.
